Compassionate counseling for adults, teens and their caregivers (in person and virtually) in Maryland.

Specializing in anxiety, OCD, neurodivergence, gender, & sexuality.

Welcome to a new kind of therapy practice - where evidence-based support meets intuitive understanding.

You deserve to feel seen and held by a therapist who is dedicated to providing a safe and affirming space for identity exploration and transformation. I specialize in supporting queer and transgender individuals, neurodivergent clients, and those grappling with the profound impact of wide-scale social issues. With expertise in navigating the unique challenges faced by these communities, I am committed to nurturing your healing, growth and self-advocacy. Additionally, for those caught in the web of relentless overthinking, I offer thoughtful guidance to break free from the OCD cycle and embrace a more balanced and empowered life.

  • Have you felt all your life that you are too much? That you take up too much space? Have you been indirectly or explicitly given that message by a partner, friends, family, peers, or your colleagues?

  • Do you feel like you need to shrink yourself, mask your unique traits, or tone it down?

  • Is all of the concealing or camouflaging your quirks causing you to feel exhausted and headed towards burnout?

  • Do you struggle to find the strengths and glimmers in your daily routine?

One of my overall goals with therapy is to help clients make the shift from feeling stuck, broken or braced for the worst case scenario. I will offer tools to help regulate your nervous system, so you can be rooted in the present moment and able to trust in yourself. Welcome to a space where your journey is honored, and healing is a collaborative process.

Areas of Practice

Relentless Overthinking

Many of my clients are creatives or young professionals with busy brains, struggling with rumination, worst-case scenario thinking, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I am trained in Inference-based CBT, a gentle alternative to Exposure & Response Prevention approaches. Clients who have completed I-CBT often find it helps them better understand how they get sucked into the OCD spiral, and how to use the tools and skills to find their way out.

Gender & Sexual Orientation

I work with queer and transgender teens and adults who are exploring their gender or sexuality and the ways that they are impacted living in a cisnormative world. I am also available to assist caregivers as you support your teen or young adult during this process.

Neurodivergence

In addition, I work with neurodivergent clients who have experienced invalidation or trauma while navigating ableist systems. This includes people who are questioning whether or not they may have ADHD or be autistic, and providing assistance in this exploration process using diagnostic assessments and tools.

Quality of Life Issues

I work with clients exploring quality of life issues - that includes people who are contemplating any kind of a transition to a different job, relationship, or who are struggling with climate change, political instability, or those with an interest in social justice and activism.

Trauma Work

Whether you have had a single acute stressor, or chronic and complex life events, I will help you gently explore the impact on functioning. I use a combination of talk therapy, attunement, and Brainspotting to help you metabolize the trauma so it is not stored in the body, leading to negative health outcomes and stuck patterns. You do not have to rehash every detail of your experience to heal from it.

Ketamine Assisted Brainspotting

Low dose Ketamine-assisted Brainspotting therapy can help if you are looking for relief from unrelenting depression, anxiety or hypervigilance. If this sounds familiar to you, then you may benefit from a combination of psycholytic ketamine and Brainspotting. This treatment allows for powerful healing and shifting deeply held thought patterns and maladaptive behaviors.

Nature Informed Therapy

By pairing movement with processing, we can create energy and flow, improve mental clarity, and mitigate the impacts of cortisol from a sedentary lifestyle that so many of us are accustomed to with a 9-5 job from being deeply embedded in hustle culture.
